So basically JB you're saying you like to use your mac as a PC??? Which negates the whole reason of having a mac in the first place. ALSO, getting mac's serviced are more of a pain than dealing with the pc support. Instead of being on the phone for a few hours, you have to call, make an appointment a few days in advance, sit and wait for someone to come to help you, then they usually just ship out your mac anyways.

Apple MACs are not just good looking machines. The hardware components are state of the art on all cases, the MAC Intel based machines can also run Windows with close to zero perofrmance degradation using VMWare.

Considering the many advantages a world-class system offers versus the fact that most generic and brand pc vendors have terrible support outweighs (at least to me) the small price difference.

I was an anti Microsoft power user, that simply used Microsoft products because I had many misconceptions, but now, I can run everything I need on a MAC hardware machine, including Snow Leopard, Windows XP, and Linux.

It's worth to also mention the little known fact that all windows versions have 1000 fold more bugs that their Mac counterpart operating systems and to me, stability in both the end-user and server level are critical.

You don't need an Xbox to take advantage of Windows Media Center- Several versions of XP and Vista already come with it. Here is some more info on Media Center: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-media-center/default.aspx

Cheers,
